All of us here at Fineline Settings get very excited when we get the opportunity to visit and get to know all of you face-to-face! That’s why we are enjoiying this year’s ISSA/INTERCLEAN North American Trade Show! We are one of more than seven hundred global suppliers and among 16,000 industry leaders from over 75 different countries attending this year! We feel so honored to be among them, and we know that even though the crowd will be thick, we’ll stand out for you with our premium dinnerware!

Members of our team will be in Booth# 3355 from November 5^th to November 7^th and we’re looking forward to seeing you all and showing you the new and exciting things we’re working on! One of the things we are most excited to introduce to you is our examples of our in-house printing capabilities that look fabulous on all of our surface types! This service is available for all events, whether private or commercial!

We know, it’s been a big and exciting year, and even though it seems like we’re getting toward the end, Fineline Settings is just getting started!

Our fantastic sales team is looking forward to meeting with you and demonstrating all of the wonderful things our products have to offer your next event. If this will be your first time visiting us, you’ll soon see that our products are as distinct and high-fashion in person as they are in our catalogs and on our site! If we wish to continue enjoying the figurative fruits of the sea, then we need to ensure that they are protected so that our children and their children will also be able to appreciate the majesty and necessity of this unique ecosystem forever!

Let’s make this October the best one yet!

Patriotism is a word that every American holds close to our hearts. Regardless as to whether we all agree or disagree with the actions taken by our government during these turbulent times, we never fail to show appreciation for those who have been commissioned with defending and serving our Nation and its adoring people.

Among these selfless few, there are those who went above and beyond the call of duty; those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and whose brave families and friends deserve our attention and undying gratitude for their courage and strength in the face of tragedy no one should ever have to face.

Our congress's appreciation of these men and women made it so that in 1979(the third Friday of September) was commemorated as National POW/MIA Recognition Day. This day of reverence was established to help set aside particular time to express gratitude for these men and women who are no less than heroes. This year the aformentioned holiday falls on September 19^th. It is a day where we as a nation, take the time to show reverence to those who we are honored enough to call our armed forces.

Most of us can agree that heroes are those who do the right thing no matter how frightening or difficult the task; they are those who sacrifice their well-being for the greater good of others. Our men and women in uniform are heroes every single day. It is never too early or late to show our gratitude to our heroes, so let us come together now and say thank you to the families of those who are reported as MIA and the survivors of POW camps who have made it home to us.

Yes, the topic that we now address is somber, but it does not mean that we should not think about it. While this holiday is more about remembrance than celebration in the form of food and balloons, it helps remind all of us to be thankful and celebrate what we have, and who we are blessed to share it with.

Our company supports our troops no matter what; we support their efforts, their struggles, and their triumphs. There are times when we don’t need to hang up banners or set the table in order to pay homage to our heroes. Sometimes, all it takes is just one moment out of our hectic day to never forget.

This post is to say THANK YOU. 

There are those in our Fineline team that know what it is like to have a loved one who made the aformentioned sacrifices; they have been fortunate enough to have their veteran return, and know that the opportunity should never be missed to take the time and express love and respect for all of the families who have been touched by similar circumstances.

Thank you for your service. Thank you for the service of your family. Thank you for your sacrifice. Thank you for your family’s sacrifice.  We will never forget.

The American culture revolves around hard work; our unshakable commitment to our professions has been so deeply engrained in our characters that giving 150% to our 9-5 is only natural. We all do our best to bear the stresses placed upon us day-to-day without complaint, but try as we might, we all get burnt out and run down.

Due to our country’s venture toward progress, and our reverence for the sweat on one’s brows, it was only a matter of time before someone decided that we all deserved a little bit of a pat on the back. That’s why, over one hundred years ago, the concept of a special day in honor of every hard-working American was suggested by a Gentleman by the surname of McGuire back in 1882! 

He proposed to the higher-ups a very near and dear holiday to all of our hearts; one that repays our hard work with a little well-deserved reprieve. If you’re glancing up at your calendars, then no doubt you have the first Monday of September circled in a bright yellow highlighter with a few exclamation points and maybe a smiley face or two thrown in because it’s just that awesome of a day!

Yes, the for mentioned day is when most of us get the chance to relax, enjoy some major retail sales, and shake away some of the stress that a two-day weekend might not have entirely been exorcised!

With Labor Day weekend shambling toward us, that means it’s time to get our “host” on and start prepping for a party that will make us ‘remember, remember the 1^st of September’!

So, come one and all, and let’s make this Labor Day labor free and enjoy our R & R with a bit of Fineline flair!
